Resumen: El artículo intenta estudiar el concepto de pecado original y caída en el tiempo americano a partir de la novela de Ernesto Sábato, El túnel. El presente estudio realiza un análisis de las primeras escenas de la novela relacionándolas con textos esenciales americanos que han estudiado los símbolos claves para visualizar esa segunda caída en el tiempo que supuso la llegada del hombre occidental a América.


Abstract: the article tries to study the concept of sin original and fall in the american time from ernesto sabato´s novel, The tunnel. The present study realizes an analysis of the first scenes of the novel relating them to american essential texts that have studied the symbols key to visualize this second fall in the time that supposed the arrival of the western man to america.
